My students perform in two formal recitals each year. In addition, they may choose to participate in any of the programs, competitions, and festivals available through MMTA, and MMTF. Many of my students participate in MMTA Syllabus exams and State Piano Contest.

In 2002, my studio presented a special recital on Mozart’s birthday in conjunction with the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony’s Mozart Festival. Each student performed a solo by Mozart and over 250 people attended the concert.

My students have performed in master classes given by Eduardus Halim, Eugene Gienger, Melody Bober, Marylene Dosse, Howard Karp, Tadeusz Majewski, Scott Price, Dr. Jay Herschberger, Marvin Blickenstaff, Dr. Teresa Dybvig, and Ingrid Clarfield.

My students have performed with the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony (ND) and the Wausau Conservatory of Music Youth Orchestra (WI), have been North Dakota Competition winners in the elementary and high school divisions, given senior piano recitals and senior diploma programs for Guild. They have also participated in the BMMTA Monster Concerts and Steinway at the Belle recitals (ND).

In 2006, my studio presented a program on the Life and Music of Scott Joplin for Thursday Music Club (ND). Over 150 people attended the performance of ragtime music. The response from the audience was extremely enthusiastic and everyone had a great deal of fun!

I have given numerous solo piano recitals, concerto performances, chamber music and accompanying performances throughout Wisconsin and North Dakota. I perform regularly with the Allen-Mishler Piano Duo,
